Our kids are in the Circus!
Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 8:31AM Before you start cracking jokes about our kids growning up to be carnies and all that entails (who smells like cabbage?), think Cirque de Soli not the other kind.
This is our 2nd year participating in Circus Juventas' Spring Celebration Performances. To say they look forward to the show is an understatement- it's only surpassed by Christmas and a Birthday. And we're excited right along with them.
We have been so impressed with the hard work, bravery, confidence and friendships our kids have grown in through their participation with "Circus School". We feel fortunate to have such a unique, wonderful organization availble to us. And you don't feel bad about inviting people to watch the show when the rest of it is this cool too! Seriously- it's thrilling and fun!
To borrow co-founder Dan Butler's famous line "May all your days be Circus Days!"
The show theme was "Cirque de Cinema". M&S's movie was "Elf". This included entering the big top via sliding down a snow-covered rooftop.
The big kids! Pretty amazing and very entertaining.
